JONESY

This Scottish lad means business. Just one listen to his voice and you’ll know why. A true powerhouse when it comes to belting out the tunes, Scott has been compared to U2’s “Bono”. Scott fronted the very popular local band “Common Language” through the mid 1980’s into the early 90’s. During this time, Scott shared the spotlight with a few well known Canadian performers, including Glass Tiger’s Alan Frew, and Bryan Adams! In 2004, was back on the stage with “JONESY”, and has been rocking Niagara and beyond since.

A native of Welland, Ontario, Paul comes from an extremely musical family. His father, and all three brothers are all musicians, including Mark, a well known Canadian performer. In addition to being an amazing guitarist, Paul is a professional songwriter. When not playing with “Jonesy”, Paul spends his time between Niagara and L.A, California writing music with some of the industries best.

The other Paul in “JONESY” is Paul Reid. He brings an electronic element to the band. Whether the songs require large orchestral sounds, or modern dance samples, he has it covered.

Originally from Fonthill, Ontario, Craig provides one half of the foundation for “JONESY”. Craig is an extremely talented musician, who, when not playing with Jonesy, is busy writing and recording songs under the band name "The Cabaret Quicksand".

Richard Brown is the second half of Jonesy’s foundation. A true professional, Richard can play with the best of them. Richard is arguably, one of the best drummers in the area. Richard plays with a steady meter, amazing precision, and even more importantly, passion.
